The former fishing village of Çeşme lies at the end of the peninsula across from the Greek island of Chios. Our sailing region stretches to Lesbos and Ayvalik in the north and to Kusadasi and Samos in the south. Due to its many advantages, the Aegean region is enjoying a continually growing popularity among experienced sailors.

The area between Asia Minor and Europe offers ample change of pace for the crews. Our region lies between picturesque Greek islands and the plentiful coves of the Turkish coast. The weather is stable over the entire sailing season from April to November. Even in mid-summer a comfortable climate prevails; a strong wind often blows in the daytime, allowing uninhibited sailing pleasure.

Çeşme town centre

The picturesque town of Çeşme, with its famous thermal springs and fine sandy beaches, is one of the most important tourist towns on the Turkish west coast. Numerous shops, cafés, bars and fish restaurants in the alleyways add to the romantic atmosphere of this port town. The town landmark is the Genoesian castle from the 14th Century, towering above the Franken & Meer base.

You can easily reach our yachts from the international airport in Izmir using a six-lane highway (90km).
